Mrs. Alma Holt Barefoot of Raeford passed away Thursday, April 6, 2017, at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst at the age of 94. Mrs. Barefoot was born in Cumberland County on March 27, 1923 to the late Walter B. Holt and Vennie Benson Holt. She is preceded in death by her husband Allen W. Barefoot and her son Billy Barefoot. . She was member of Hillcrest Baptist Church for 58 years. Mrs. Barefoot was the owner and operator of the Alpine Mobile Home Trailer Park. Mrs. Barefoot is survived a son Lt. Col. Allen W. Barefoot, Jr. (Jane) of San Antonio TX., 2 daughters, Carolyn B. Rogers of Richmond ,VA and Shirley B. Warfield of Raeford, 1 sister Ida Florence Register of Fayetteville, 16 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 26 great-great grandchildren, and 1 great-great-great granddaughter. A visitation will be held 4-6 Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Crumpler Funeral Home 131 Harris Ave. Raeford. A funeral service will be held 2pm Sunday, April 9, 2017 at Hillcrest Baptist Church 2699 Hwy 401 Bus., Raeford, with Pastor Toby Neal officiating. Burial will be in Highland Biblical Gardens.
