Anthony Reale Obituary

Mr. Anthony Joseph Reale of Raeford passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017 at FirstHealth Hospice House in Moore County. Mr. Real was born in Westerly, RI on December 8, 1921. He served in US Navy during WWII on the USS Intrepid. He was member of the Elks Club in Southern Pines and won two Elks National Four Ball Tournaments with his step-son John Zoppi. He also won the Connecticut State Senior Championship and played a lot of golf tournaments with Jerry Courville, Sr. He is survived by his step-son John E. Zoppi and his wife Tanya Zoppi of Pinehurst, a step-daughter Susan Zoppi of Pinebluff, a brother Frank Reale of FL., 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his friends Ann and Harvey Albright, who he loved playing golf with. A private memorial service will be held later.
