Betty Sue Hunt

Mrs. Betty Henderson Hunt, 54, of 2163 South Duffie Road was born into eternity on March 14, 2017. Mrs. Hunt was born in Scotland County on February 8, 1963 to the late David Henderson and Otellar Jones. A loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, Bettys grace and beauty followed her wherever she went. She was a devout Christian and a faithful member of Mt. Elim Baptist Church in Red Springs. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Hazel Woriax, Isabelle Woods, Mattie Bell Scott, Marie Chavis, and her brothers, Irvin and Ivory Henderson. Mrs. Hunt leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Bobby Hunt; her daughters, Melony and Kelly Hunt; her precious grandchildren, David Hunt, Kaleb Graham, Mekayla Tillman and Kassidy Graham; her sisters, Rachel Locklear, Gensie Henderson, Joan Hunt, and Barbara Henderson; her brother, Donnie Henderson; and a host of adored nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family will receive friends and family Friday evening, between the hours of 7pm and 9pm, at Mt. Elim Baptist Church in Red Springs. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 18, 2016 at Mt. Elim Baptist Church with The Reverend Chris Webb and The Reverend Larry Locklear officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery following the service.
