Mr. Bobby F. Collier of Red Springs, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2017 at FirstHealth Hospice House at the age of 83. Mr. Collier was born in Robeson County April 19, 1933 to the late Joe and Claire McDonald Collier. He was preceded in death by his wife Irene Collier. He was a member of The Red Springs Emmanuel Holiness Church for over 39 years. He loved working on cars, working in the yard and fishing. He retired from Burlington Industries in Raeford after 34 years of service. He is survived by his 2 daughters, Debbie Williams and her husband Jim of Red Springs, Ellen McPherson of Red Springs, 2 grandchildren, Laurie Holland of Laurel Hill, Jamie Lee and his wife Tammy of Shannon, 5 great grandchildren, Ryan, Brandon, Alan, Heather, and Josh and 2 great-great grandchildren, Hayden, Hailey, and 4 sisters, Mable Maples and her husband Heubert of SC, Geraldine Black of Carthage, Carol Cox of Carthage, Janet King and her husband Granville of Hoke Co. A visitation will be held 1-2 pm Thursday, March 9, 2017 at The Red Springs Emmanuel Holiness Church , 598 Pearsall Rd. Red Springs. A funeral service will be held at 2 pm following the visitation with the Rev. Danny Godfrey officiating, and directed by Crumpler Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Alloway Cemetery.
