Mr. Charles "Ronald" Wilson of Raeford passed away June 28, 2017 at the age of 61. Ronald was born August 31, 1955 in Hoke County. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles A. Wilson and his son Charles Ronald Wilson, Jr. He served in the North Carolina National Guard and was a former deputy with the Hoke County Sheriffs Department, a member of the Hoke County Rescue Squad, North Raeford Fire Department and Raeford Masonic Lodge #306. Ronald also worked as a civilian with the military as a role player with the exercise "Robin Sage" Ronald is survived by his wife Teresa M. Wilson of Raeford, his mother, Margaret B. Wilson, and 2 brothers, Donald Wilson and Frankie Wilson and his wife Juanita of Raeford. A visitation will be held 6-8 Friday June 30, 2017 at Crumpler Funeral Home 131 Harris Ave. Raeford, NC. A funeral service will be held 2pm Saturday July 1, 2017 at Raeford Evangelical Methodist Church with Pastor Tex Deaton and Chaplain Carlos Ortiz officiating. Burial will be in the Raeford Cemetery with Masonic Rites.
