Mr. Daryl Kent Simmons of Hoke Co., died September 19, 2016, at the age of 53. Mr. Simmons was born August 26, 1963 in Miami, FL. He is survived by 3 sons, Daryl Keith Simmons of Fayetteville, NC, William Simmons and Gabriel Simmons both of Sweet Water, TX, his mother, Dixie Simmons of Red Springs, his father, Jim Simmons, 2 brothers, Vaudry Simmons of Red Springs, Bobby Simmons (Michelle) of Pender Co., 2 sisters Wendy Mossolle (Lee) of Martinsburg, WV, Christina Moore of CA., and 3 grandchildren, Leah Simmons, Mya Simmons, and Caleb Simmons. A memorial service will be held 1pm Saturday September 24, 2016 at the Crumpler Funeral Home Chapel Red Springs. The family will receive friends at the funeral home after the service.
