Doris Hall Obituary

Ms. Doris Ellen Bounds Hall, 89, passed away Monday, October 5, 2015 in Autumn Care of Raeford. Ms. Hall was born in Hoke County on April 4, 1926 to the late Wilson J. Bounds and Mattie Johnson Bounds. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Red Springs and the Red Hat Society. She was preceded in death by her husband James Marion Hall and a son, Medford Hall. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Donald Hall and wife Carolyn of Red Springs, Leon Hall and wife Hannah of Oak Island and Gene Hall and wife Beverly of Angier; a daughter, Wanda McDiarmid and husband John of Raeford; a brother, Howard Bounds and wife Emily of Marion and a sister, Marie Metzler of California; 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. Visitation will be held 7-9 pm Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at Crumpler Funeral Home 220 East 4th Ave. Red Springs, NC 28377 Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at the Red Springs First Baptist Church, 701 East 4th Ave. Red Springs, NC 28377 with Pastor Bradley Boberg officiating. Burial will follow in Alloway Cemetery in Red Springs. In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials may be made to the Red Springs First Baptist Church Roof Fund, 701 East 4th Ave. Red Springs, NC 29377.
