Please allow me to offer my condolences to the family with these comforting words based on Revelation 21:3-5: " Look! The tent of God is with mankind...and God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. Write, for these words are faithful and true. " I am deeply sorry for your loss. May God's Word the Bible comfort all of you during this painful time.

Dear Lord, Dodie is gone now from this earthly dwelling, and she has left behind those of us who mourn her absence. May we hold her memory dear, never bitter for what we have lost nor regretful for the past, but always in hope of the eternal Kingdom where you will bring us together again. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

Lynn, so sorry to learn of your Mama's passing when I picked up the N&O today. I hope that you can take comfort in knowing that you "kept the faith" as a dutiful and loving daughter.

Please accept my deepest sympathy in the passing of Dodie. She and I were co workers at the Department of Social Services. She always greeted me and others with a beautiful smile. Rest In Peace Dodie.

We would take this time to say, we will truly miss her. Ms. Dodie was a little fireball at times but that is what made her special. We know she is know with James for she talked about him daily. We know there was a big celebration going on when she got there. We Loved Dobie and we thank you for allowing us to be a part of her life here at Scotia Village. Blessings to you all.
