James Cummings Obituary

Mr. James Erving Cummings of Parkton passed away on Friday, October 27, 2017 at the age of 65. Mr. Cummings was born in Robeson County on June 3, 1952, to the late Acy Cummings and Mary Jane Jones Cummings. He was preceded in death by his brother, Leon Cummings. He was a member of Rock Grove Baptist Church. Survivors are three brothers, Acy Junior Cummings of Parkton, St. Matthew Cummings of Parkton and Gary Cummings of Shannon, one sister, Reola Cummings of Raeford. Several nieces and nephew. Visitation will be held Monday, October 30, 2017 from 7 until 9 pm at Crumpler Funeral Home in Raeford. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at Crumpler Funeral Home Chapel, 131 Harris Ave. Raeford Burial will be in the Oxendine Family Cemetery.
