Louise Taylor Obituary

Mrs. Louise Penny Taylor, 92, of Raeford, passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2017. Mrs. Taylor was born August 14, 1924 in Robeson County to the late Edward Penny and Princess Davis Penny. She was preceded in death by her husband Johnnie C. Taylor and her daughter Joan Louise Taylor. Mrs. Taylor was a member of the Evangelical Methodist Church and attended Celebration of Praise Church of God. She retired in 1990 from Burlington Industries in Raeford. Mrs. Taylor was treasurer for the Woodmen of the World in Raeford. Mrs. Taylor is survived by 2 daughters, Joan Sanders and her husband Herman of Raeford, Rhonda Hester and her husband Gene of Fayetteville, a son, Johnnie Taylor of Hickory, a sister Doreatha McDuffie of Raeford, 14 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and 24 great, great- grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 7:00 until 9:00 pm on Friday, January 13, 2017 at Crumpler Funeral Home in Raeford. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Celebration of Praise Church of God, 4944 Fayetteville Road, Raeford , with Reverend Jerry Edge officiating. Burial will be in the Raeford Cemetery.
