Lula Spearman Obituary

Mrs. Lula Beal (Shropshire) Spearman, formerly of Decatur, AL and Ocala, FL passed away in Autumn Care of Raeford on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at the age of 97. Lula was born in Morgan County, Alabama on April 25, 1920 to the late Archer Shropshire and Lula Ryan Shropshire. Lula enjoyed traveling, square dancing, and golfing. She was a member of Ocala West United Methodist Church. Lula was preceded in death by her sisters, Virginia Jones, Helen Dykes; her brothers, Donald Brooks Shropsire and Archer T. Shropshire, Jr. She is survived by her son, William "Bill" Lewis Spearman; her grandson, Matthew Spearman and his wife, Casie; Great grandson, Bryant Spearman; her sister, Alice Prince; many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
