Margaret C. Beckwith English

Mrs. Margaret Beckwith English of Raeford passed away Wednesday, November 08, 2017 at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst at the age of 83. Mrs. English was born February 09, 1934 in Chatham County NC to the late William Lattie Beckwith and Hallie Bryan Beckwith. She is also preceded in death by her siblings Roland Beckwith, Hazel McNeill, and Billy Beckwith. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. Her hobbies included horseback riding, square dancing, clogging and listening to bluegrass and gospel music. She is survived by her husband Clarence G. English, 5 children, Corinne E. Chapman (Donnie), Sharon English, Ronald English (Lisa), Keith English, Amy English, 8 grandchildren Brian Chapman (Ashley), Kelly McGee (Ronnie), Michael Chapman, Tim Chapman, Tate English (Rachel) Sarah Wilcox , Zada English, Phoenix English, 8 great-grandchildren Hannah Parker, Hallie Parker, Ryan Chapman, Emma McGee, Garrett Chapman, Scarlett Chapman, Jane Wilcox, Ethan Wilcox, and 1 great-great grandchild Carter Lancaster. A visitation will be held 6-8pm Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Crumpler Funeral Home 131 Harris Ave. Raeford, NC. A funeral service will be held 3pm Sunday, November 12, 2017 at Hillcrest Baptist Church 2699 US 401 Business Raeford NC. Burial will be in the Raeford Cemetery.
