Margaret Locklear Jones

Mrs. Margaret L. Jones of 292 Chris Road, Lumber Bridge died Thursday, February 10, 2011 at SouthEastern Regional Medical Center at the age of 66. Mrs. Jones was born in Robeson County on August 2, 1944, to the late Paul Jones and Roshell Locklear. Her step-father, Early Locklear preceded her in death. Mrs. Jones was employed at Burlington Industries in Raeford for 25 years. She was a member of Galilee Baptist Church. She is survived by a husband of 21 years, Glen Ray Jones of Lumber Bridge; two daughters, Felicia Bryant and her husband Ray of St. Pauls, and Karen Nucci and her former husband Louis of Shannon; two stepdaughters, Penny Grace and her husband Antoine of Raeford, Kim McMillan and her husband Richard of Shannon; three stepsons, Jason Jones of Hamlet, Brandon Jones of St. Pauls, and Ethen Locklear of Raeford; five brothers, Donald Locklear of Maxton, James Locklear of Red Springs, Ervin Locklear of Red Springs, Charles Locklear of Red Springs, Michael Locklear of Red Springs; five sisters, Jean Locklear of Lumber Bridge, Sally Sampson of Lumber Bridge, Janice Locklear, Debra Locklear, and Dora Locklear all of Red Springs; two stepbrothers, Harold Locklear of Maxton, and Winston Oxendine of Shannon; four grandchildren, Wesley, Kyna, Carmella, and Rachelle; 10 step-grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 7:00 until 9:00pm Saturday, February 12, 2011 at Crumpler Funeral Home in Red Springs, and at other times at the home of Debra Locklear, 3244 Old Lowery Road, Red Springs, NC. Funeral Services will be held 2:00pm, Sunday, February 13, 2011at Galilee Baptist Church, 1716 Mt. Tabor Road, with Pastor Tony Hunt, Reverend Ray Bryant, and Pastor Scottie Deal officiating. Burial will be in the Locklear Family Cemetery on Old Lowery Road in Red Springs.
