Maxine Williamson White

Mrs. Maxine White of Red Springs died Friday, October 2, 2015 in her home at the age of 85. Mrs. White was born in Scotland County on October 12, 1929 to the late Lacy Williamson and Nellie Burdell Williamson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Edward White. She was a member of the Red Springs First Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Judy W. Arrington and her husband, C.G. of Red Springs; three sisters, Betty Fields of Laurinburg, Geraldine Inman of Lumberton, Annette Vavie of Marshall, MI; three grandchildren, Brittany A. Melton and her husband, Scott of Red Springs, Crawford Arrington and his wife Amy of Nashville, TN, Dacon Arrington of Raleigh; five great grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. Funeral Service will be at the Red Springs First Baptist Church on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 beginning at 2:00 p.m. with The Reverends Bradley Boberg and Robert Nolley. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Alloway Cemetery. Memorials may be made to: Liberty Hospice, 705A Wesley Pines Rd, Lumberton, N.C. 28358.
