Pomielee Watson

Pomielee Watson of Raeford passed away Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the age of 94.Pomielee was born in Scotland County on May 6, 1923 to the late Willard Watson and Lilly Sessoms Watson. She was a member of Raeford Praise and Worship Center. Mrs. Watson was retired from Abbott Laboratories. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Albert Burrow, brother, Frank D. Watson, James Watson, Willard Watson, Jr.; her sisters, Anna W. Cribb and Mildred W. Malloy; her grandchildren, Cindy Burrow Billinger and Alton Ray Burrow, II.Pomielee was a loving mother that cared for her family, her church, and her community.She leaves behind her son, Donald L. Burrow and his wife, Ruby of Raeford; her daughter, Judy B. Parker and her husband, Frank of Raeford; her son, Alton R. Burrow and his wife, Barbara of Pinehurst; her sister, Ola Mae Harvey of Hamlet; 4 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren.The family will receive friends between the hours of 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at the Raeford Praise and Worship Center, 2669 Fayetteville Rd, Raeford, NC 28376.Funeral services will begin at 2:00 pm following the visitation with Pastor Randall Snead officiating. Burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery in Laurinburg.Memorials may be made to: Raeford Praise and Worship Center, 2095 Longleaf Drive West, Pinehurst, NC 28374.
