Mrs. Ruth Alice Cummings Scott of Raeford, died Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center at the age of 66. Mrs. Scott was born May 1, 1949 in Robeson County to the late Luke Cummings and Eva Holmes Cummings. She was a member of the Rock Grove Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband Jimmy Scott, 4 brothers, Sam Cummings (Rita), Mark Cummings, David Cummings, Walter Cummings (Sherry), 1 sister, Martha Gonzales (Ray), a special brother in- law Larry Scott, sister-in-law Ann Cummings and a special niece Angel Emanuel. A visitation will be held 7-9 pm Monday, May 2, 2016 at Crumpler Funeral Home 131 Harris Ave. Raeford, NC. A funeral service will be held 2pm Tuesday, May 3, 2016 in Crumpler Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Ronald Bryant officiating. Burial will be in the Rock Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
