Ms. Sharon 'Sherry' Kay Guenther of Raeford died Monday, October 10, 2016 in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center at age 73. Ms. Guenther was born in St. Clair County Illinois on September 25, 1943 to the late Arthur Wright and Adelaide DeBoer Wright. Sherry was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, and going to the beach. Above all she enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her son, Steven W. Guenther of New Athens, IL.; her daughter, Sue Guenther of Carthage, NC; her grandchildren, Chantelle Guenther and her fianc, Dustin of Prairie du rocher, IL, Cole Guenther of Millstadt, IL, Kurt Baldwin and Matt Baldwin of Carthage, NC.
