Andrew Morris Lamont

Mr. Andrew Morris (Andy) Lamont Sr. of Raeford, passed away Thursday, November 15, 2018 at his home at the age of 69.Mr. Lamont was born in Hoke County on December 22, 1948, to the late William and Mary Morris Lamont. He was preceded in death by his son, Andrew Morris (Drew) Lamont Jr. and his sister, Pat Lamont Wilcox. He was a member of the Raeford Presbyterian Church. He was the owner and operator of the Home Food Grill. He was passionate about his cooking, family and serving his community.Survivors are: His wife, Carol Campbell Lamont of Raeford; daughters, Audra Lamont McCormick and her husband Mark of Laurinburg and Caroline Lamont Hendricks of Southern Pines, Jennifer Henry Rae of Winston-Salem, a son Russell J. Henry of Aberdeen. Five grandchildren, Sydney Huff, Madison McCormick, Faith McCormick, Alyssa Hendricks and Kaitlin Rae; one brother, William (Monty)Lamont III and his wife Lynn of New Bern.Visitation will be held 4:00 until 6:00 pm Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Crumpler Funeral Home in Raeford.Memorial service will be held 6:00 pm Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Crumpler Funeral Home in Raeford.
