Azzie Wentz Obituary

Mrs. Azzie Edwards Wentz of Raeford, passed away Friday, January 19, 2018 at St. Joseph of the Pines in Southern Pines. Mrs. Wentz was born in Madison County, GA on January 22, 1929, to the late Homer Franklin Edwards and Azzie Sorrow Edwards. She was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend James H. Wentz. She was a member of the Raeford Church of God of Prophecy. She is survived by a brother, H.B. Edwards and his wife Edith of Knightdale, NC; a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Edwards of Hampstead, NC. Several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 1:30 until 3:00 pm on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at the Church of God of Prophecy in Raeford. Funeral Services will be held 3:00 pm on Tuesday at the Church of God of Prophecy in Raeford with Reverend Randall Snead officiating. Burial will be in the Raeford Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Church of God of Prophecy in Raeford.
