Gloria Jean Stokes Lovely

Gloria S. Lovely of Raeford went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at the age of 64.Mrs. Lovely was born in Greenville, SC on December 31, 1953 to the late L.T. Stokes and Dot Fricks Stokes. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Steve Stokes, Sandy Sanders and Connie Stokes. She served in the US Army during Operation Desert Storm where she served in the medical field. She retired from the US Army in May of 2002. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.She is survived by her husband, Wayne Lovely of Raeford; her sons, Jeffrey Bishop, Jr. (Kimberly) of Fountain Inn, SC, Wayne Lovely, Jr. (Ana) of Columbus, OH, Troy Lovely (Erica) of Clarksville, TN; her daughters, Amy Harrison and Melanie Lovely, both of Greenville, SC; her brother, Gary Stokes (Pam) of Greenville, SC; a brother-in-law, Roy Sanders of Fountain Inn, SC. 10 grandchildren, Abigail, Michael Shane, Terra Nichole, Gabriel, Sebastian, Sophia, Jackson, Hunter, Riley, Alyiah.The family will receive friends on Friday, May 18, 2018 between the hours of 11 am and 12 noon at Crumpler Funeral Home in Raeford.Funeral services will begin the same day at 12 noon in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in the Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
