Joseph Buffalo Joe Kozur

Joseph "Buffalo Joe" Kozur USAF Ret. 74 of Raeford passed away on Friday, May 10, 2019 in his home surrounded by his family.Mr. Kozur was born in Brookhaven, PA on January 22, 1945. He is preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Anna Kozur, sister, Kathleen Diviney, and brother Thomas Kozur.Mr. Kozur served 23 years in the Air Force and traveled with his family to many countries. After retiring from the Air Force, he worked with the Civil Service for 20 years. When he was riding his Harley all across the country, he always said "Dont know where I am but Im not lost. Just enjoying life"He is survived by his wife of 52 years Janice Kozur, daughters, Christine Hall and husband Gray of Ft. Mill, SC; Coleen Kozur of Raeford, a son, Joseph Kozur Jr. and wife Rhenda of Fayetteville, four grandchildren, Alex Davis (Sarah) of Fredericksburg VA; Adam Davis of Fredericksburg, VA; Vallery Morgan (Joshua) of China Grove, NC; and Lauren Kozur of Fayetteville, three sisters, Anna Marie Jones of Pueblo CO; Mary Ann Kozur of Leheigh Acres, FL; Madelyn Hutchinson of Paris TN; and several nieces and nephews.Visitation will be held 10 am until 11:00 am Friday, May 17, 2019 at Crumpler Funeral Home 131 Harris Ave. Raeford.A graveside service will be held 12:00 noon Friday May 17, 2019 at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery with full military honors.
