Mabel Barnes Obituary

Mrs. Mabel Adcox Barnes of Red Springs, formerly of Arabia passed away on Friday, September 22, 2017 in Southeastern Regional Medical Center at the age of 89. Mrs. Barnes was born in Robeson County on October 27, 1927, to the late Thomas Lee Adcox and Docia Carter Adcox. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jasper (JC) Barnes. Survivors are: two daughters, Shirley B. Craig and her husband Danny of Lumber Bridge, NC and Mary Bullock and her husband Lester of Lumberton. NC; two sons, Billy L. Barnes and his wife Linda of Florence, SC and Tommy L. Barnes and his wife Judy of Lumberton, NC. Seven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. A private memorial service will be held at Sandy Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.
