Mrs. Mary Ruth Calloway Haire died Sunday, December 15, 2013 at the age of 98. Mrs. Haire was born in Surry County on December 3, 1915 to the last Robert and Blanche Cook Calloway. She is preceded in death by her husband Ernest B. Haire and her son, Ernest B. Haire, Jr. She was a member of Antioch Presbyterian Church and past President of Woodman of the World, Chapter 118 in Raeford. Mrs. Haire is survived by her son William Robert Haire of Bumpass. Va; 3 sisters Sadie Cagle of Miami, FL; Joan Frye of Aberdeen, NC; Patsy Edwards of Wilmington , NC 2 grandchildren, Nicole Law and William Haire, Jr; 2 great grandchildren Cameron Haire and Micheal Haire. Visitation will be 6-8pm Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Crumpler Funeral Home 131 Harris Ave. Raeford NC, Graveside service will be 3pm Thursday, December 19, 2013 at Antioch Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
