Amy Miller Obituary

Mrs. Amy Black Miller of Fayetteville formerly of Raeford went home to be with her Lord and Savior at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center on Friday, August 13, 2021, at the age of 53.

Amy was born in Cumberland County on November 5, 1967. Her husband Tommy Miller passed away the same day as his wife Amy on August 13, 2021. She was also preceded in death by father, John D. Black, and her sister Mary Sheila Black. She was a Graduate of Louisburg College; UNC Pembroke and she received her master’s degree from East Carolina University.

She is survived by her daughter Alexis Turnage and her husband Ryan of Zebulon, NC; a son Joey Miller of Zebulon, NC; two grandchildren Aubrey and Austin Turnage of Zebulon, NC; her mother Mary Smith Balch and her husband George of Raeford, NC, a sister Beth Black of Raeford, two brothers, Randy Black and his wife Kathy of Raeford, NC and Jeffrey Black of Raeford, NC.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 until 3:00 pm on Tuesday in the Fellowship Hall of Sandy Grove United Methodist Church, the service to follow at 3:00 pm in the sanctuary with Pastor Josh Tester officiating.
