Beverly (Barr) Dew

Mrs. Beverly Barr Dew of Raeford went home to be with her Lord and Savior at First Health Hospice House in Pinehurst on Friday, May 27, 2022, at the age of 54.

Beverly was born in Cumberland County, NJ on June 22, 1967, to the late Artemas Dale Barr and Frances Todd Poniatowski. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ricky Barr and Dennie Barr. She served in the US Army Reserves for eight years. After twenty-two years of employment, Beverly retired from the North Carolina Department of Correction.

She is survived by her husband Edward Ray (Eddie) Dew of Raeford, NC

Four children, Christopher James Soles of Raeford, NC, Justin Dew and wife Cheyenna of Raeford, NC, Joshua Dew (Kari) of Aberdeen, NC and Angie Dew of Raeford, NC, and four grandchildren, Cameron, Jonathan, Lilly, and Payton. two sisters, Contrena Marshall and husband James of Fayetteville, NC, Cindy Sifford and husband Hieu of Fayetteville, NC a brother Dale-Ray Barr of Hope Mills, NC. Many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Sunday, May 29, 2022, at Crumpler Funeral Home, 131 Harris Avenue, Raeford, NC

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, May 30, 2022, at the Raeford First Baptist Church with Reverend Thomas Lee officiating.  Burial will be in the Raeford Cemetery with Military and State honors.
