Bobbie J. (Daniels) Lovette

Bobbie Jackie Daniels Lovette slipped the surly bonds of earth and peacefully entered into Heaven June 26, 2021 at the age of 78.  She was born September 10, 1942, in Raeford, NC to Robert “Bob” and Evelyn Daniels and resided her entire life in Raeford.   She loved God, her family and cooking.  Bobbie was a loving, dedicated mother who raised a family while working full time with Burlington and Cheeseborough Ponds.  Her passion for children was lived out during her service to the Hoke County School District as a Teacher’s Assistant.  She cared so much for the children in her care, she even got certified to drive the school bus!  Bobbie was often lauded for her willingness to do what it took to ensure the children were safe, warm and taught.  She was the epitome of love and knew no stranger.  Throughout her life, she had many activities, including gardening, hitting the flea markets, and making trips to Goodwill.  Most of all she enjoyed taking care of her family and spending 56 years with her soul mate Colin, who passed away in 2018.  Bobbie and Colin are no doubt dancing together again in Heaven, likely to an Elvis Presley song. 

Bobbie will be missed and forever in the hearts of her loving family including: Her sons Michael Lovette (Denise) of Slidell, La; Steve Lovette (Jessica) of San Antonio, TX; Julie Saunders (Drake) of Raeford; and Robert “Chris” Lovette (Jennifer) of Salisbury, NC.   Also surviving Bobbie are her brothers Earl Daniels (Barbara) of Raeford and Harrison Daniels of Laurinburg.  Bobbie was a proud grandmother of 10,  Megan Tillis (Gregory) of Columbus, Ga; Justin Spencer (Brittany) of Raeford NC; SSG Cameron Lovette (Emily) of Fayetteville, NC; SSG Jhonathan Spencer (Schani) of Stugartt, Germany; Michael Lovette Jr (Vivian) of Colorado Springs, CO; SGT Seth Lovette (Christen) of Kaiserslautern, Germany;  Christopher Saunders (Savannah) of Redding, CA; Joshua Lupo (Marivel) of Ellabell, GA;  SSgt Mitchell Wilson of Vacaville, CA; and Lilian Lovette of Wilmington, NC.  She was great-grandmother of 14.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Monday, June 28, 2021, at Crumpler Funeral Home in

Raeford, NC and also from 1:00 until 2:00 Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Pittman Grove Baptist Church.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Pittman Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Kenneth Williams officiating.

Burial will be in the Raeford Cemetery.
