Bryce “Shorttie” McNeely of Raeford passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at the age of 21.
Bryce was born in Johnston County on January 28, 2001. He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Celia and Stanley Grabey, a great aunt, Regina Rauscher, a Cousin Jared Rauscher, Paternal grandmother Grace McNeely, and his best friend Cheyne Sappa ‘Russell
Bryce’s favorite things to do were Magnet fishing and being out doors! He enjoyed photography, music, urban exploring and looking at the moon. His heart was greater than the universe, Bryce never met a stranger that didn’t become a friend.
He is survived by his parents Alecia and Carl Branham of Raeford, NC, his biological father Clifton McNeely of Turbeville, SC, three sisters, DeShay McNeely of Chapel Hill, NC, Victoria McNeely of Raeford, NC, and Catherine Branham of Norfolk, VA, 3 brothers Ryan Branham of Beckley WV, John Branham of Fayetteville NC, and Christopher Branham of Monterey, CA, His Fiancé Katrina McIntosh of Fayetteville, NC, his maternal grandparents Theresa Hinton of Raleigh NC, and Freddie Hinton of Raleigh, NC, paternal Grandparents Betty Charnock of Turbeville, SC, and Clifton McNeely of Benson, NC, Aunts Shannon Hinton of Raleigh, NC, and Jennifer Barwick(Corey) of Alcolu, SC, a niece Addilyn and five nephews, Brennen, Ahmir, Ethan, Zakiy, and Greyson, with numerous great aunts, uncles, cousins and several long time family friends.
