Cella Mae Fowler

Mrs. Cella Mae Locklear Fowler age 96 of Red Springs, Hoke County went on to glory on Monday, March 22, 2021 at her home.Mrs. Cella Mae Fowler was born in Robeson County on August 7, 1924, to the late Isiah Locklear and Avella Barton Locklear. She was preceded in death by her husband Frederick L. Fowler, her siblings, Agnora Locklear, Missouri Oxendine, Gribby Locklear, Bonnie Goins, and Hazel Goins. She was a longtime member of Shannon Assembly of God. She is survived by 5 children, Laura M. Jacobs of Shannon, NC, Joyce Fowler of Fayetteville, NC, Raymond Fowler of Red Springs, NC, Wayne Fowler of Vado, N.M, and Tessie A. Bethel of Red Springs, NC; 17 grandchildren, Derric Jacobs, Dion Jacobs, Andre Johnson, Chaz Bryant, Lauren Bryant, Raymond A. Fowler, Brandon M. Fowler, Jazmine Fowler, Aisne S. Joyce, Kristal Locklear, Nicole Fowler, Wayne Fowler Jr., Miranda Fowler, Marina Fowler, Edreese Sherman Jr., Kai Bullard, Aaron Pirozzi, Alfred Pirozzi, Jamel Cottrell and a host of great grandchildren; 4 sisters, Sue Johnson of Pembroke, NC., Larvella Oxendine of Pembroke, NC; Lucille Locklear of Pembroke, NC; and Irene Townsend of Pembroke, NC A visitation will be held from 2:00 until 3:00 pm Saturday, March 27, 2021 at the Shannon Assembly of God, 15354 NC 71 North, Shannon, NC.A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at the Shannon Assembly of God. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
