Mr. Daniel Travis Morton of Fayetteville passed away Sunday, December 31, 2017 at Carolina Rehab Center in Fayetteville. Mr. Morton was born in Jacksonville NC on November 28, 1943 to the late Daniel and Gertrude Morton. He was preceded in death by his wife Eva Lois Morton and his son William Travis "Buddy" Morton, He is survived by his 3 daughters, Doris M. Pond and her family of Shreveport, LA, Sharon M. Johnson and her family of Fayetteville and Robin M. Turgeon-Jacquez and her family of Longview, TX a brother, Dallas Morton and his family of Jacksonville, NC., a sister Peggy Ann Mobley and her family of New Bern, NC., 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 2:00 Sunday, January 7, 2018 at LaFayette Funeral Home Chapel 6651 Raeford Rd. Fayetteville.
