Darlene (Andrews) Garner

Ms. Darlene Andrews Garner of Raeford went home to be with her Lord and Savior surrounded by her family on Thursday, March 31, 2022, at the age of 65.

Darlene was born in Moore County on July 2, 1956, to the late Lawrence Elbert Andrews and Ruth Mae Cauley Andrews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry Andrews, and Edward Andrews. She was a member of A New Beginning Assembly of God in Vass, NC, where she played the piano and was awarded perfect attendance for six consecutive years. Darlene was employed for thirteen years with the Hoke County Soil and Water Conservation and was a home daycare provider for sixteen years in Raeford, a job she truly enjoyed.

She is survived by her children, Edward (Eddie) Wade Garner and his wife Lula of Raeford, NC, Patrick Brian Garner and his wife Rebekah of West End, NC, Westley Chad Garner and his wife Lauren of Raeford, NC, Mandi Ruth Holder, and her husband Jason of Raeford, NC and Candi Rose Myatt and her husband Daniel of Cameron, NC, her grandchildren, Crystal, Jerri, Ashley, Edward Jr, Savannah, Sarah, Katie, Victoria, Kayla, Bradley, Chloe, and Tyler, two great-grandchildren, Ryder and Waylon, a brother Larry  Andrews of Raeford, NC and a sister-in-law  Mary Jane Andrews of Raeford, NC.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Crumpler Funeral Home, 131 Harris Avenue, Raeford, NC

The funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, April 3, 2022, at A New Beginning Assembly of God, 123 Causey Road, Vass, NC with Reverend Mary Jane Andrews officiating.

Burial will be in the Raeford Cemetery.
