Obituary
Donald E. Faircloth passed away on July 26, 2023 at his home in Hoke County at the age of 76.
He was born on September 27, 1946 in Cumberland County to the late James W. Faircloth and Virginia Dent Faircloth.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Carol Kearns Faircloth brother David Felton, sister Joyce Hodge, Nancy Edwards, Margaret Clevenger, and Dot Clevenger.
Donald was a home builder and businessman of Faircloth Builders. He also had a wide range of skills and abilities from auto and body, carpentry, culinary, communication, and life skills. Donald also served in the United States Army from 1969 to 1972 in infantry. Well respected motorcycle enthusiast.
He is survived by his son Donald Ray Faircloth; grandson, Dylan Faircloth; brother James S. Faircloth; sisters Sylvia Polston, Tommie Currie, Hazel Jones, and Betsey Faircloth; and numerous nieces and nephews.
