Eliza Bullard Obituary

Eliza went home peacefully to her Lord and Savior on November 24, 2015 in Raleigh, NC. She was born August 19, 1920 to J. Alford and Fannie C. Walters of Raeford, NC. Eliza was a devoted wife for 71 years to Leroy Henderson (Henry) Bullard, who predeceased her. She was a beloved mother to three daughters, grandmother to six, and great-grandmother to twelve. Her three sons-in-law were loved as sons by her. Eliza retired from Civil Service. She inspired her family and others with her abiding faith in Jesus Christ and her unselfish love. Eliza willingly served in her church, community, and Bible Study Fellowship. She is survived by daughters Betty (Fred) Tyner of Raleigh, Linda (Maurice) Jennings of Greensboro, and Henrietta (John) Meaney of Prosper, TX. Grandchildren are Beth (Barry) Jones, Leslie (Bryan) Smith, Cooper Fowler, Sinclair (Robert) McLean, John Paul (Christy) Meaney, and Tom Meaney. Great-grandchildren are Claire and Nate Jones, Gracie and Abby Smith, Cooper, Alex, and Pierce Fowler, Eliza Jane, Dixon, Malcom, and Henry McLean, and Anabel Meaney. Services for Eliza will be at 3:00 PM Sunday November 29 at the Lumber Bridge Presbyterian Church, 400 N. Fayetteville Street, Lumber Bridge, NC 28357.
