Elsie (Fields) Egan

Mrs. Elsie Fields Egan of Red Springs went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at FirstHealth Hospice House at the age of 97.

Mrs. Egan was born December 1, 1923 in Robeson County to the late Hiram Fields and Lizzie Joyce Fields. She is preceded in death by her husbands Luther Hickman and Thomas L. Egan, Sr., and her daughter Patricia Hickman Dalziel. She was a charter member of Red Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Red Springs.

She is survived by a son Thomas L. Egan, Jr., and his wife Evalee of Charlotte, NC; a daughter Mary E. McMillan and her husband Bobby of Pinehurst, NC; 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; several nieces, and nephews.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, April 18, 2021 at the Alloway Cemetery with Reverends Robert Leslie McMillan III and Horace Warwick officiating.

The family will receive friends after the service.
