Fred McMillian, Jr.

Mr. Fred McMillian Jr., of Raeford passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at his home, at the age of 71.Mr. McMillian was born in Robeson County on June 22, 1947, to the late Fred McMillian Sr. and Reba Locklear McMillian. He was employed with Burlington Industries and a brick mason before he retired.He is survived by his wife Clara Faircloth McMillian of Raeford NC; his son, Michael L. Faircloth and his wife Nikuah of Raeford, NC, three grandchildren, Deanna Chavis of Longs, SC, Michael-James Faircloth of Raeford and Myles Faircloth of Raeford, one great grandson, Elijah Avery of Longs, SC, three brothers, Glenn T. (Bully) McMillian and his wife Joyce of Rennert, NC, Charles (Ed) McMillian of Saddletree, NC and Benny Ray (Dudi) McMillian and his wife Kathy of Lumberton, NC, two sisters, Barbara Ann Wilkins and her husband Greg of Lumberton, NC and Elizabeth Faye (Coot) Jones and her husband Ronald of Lumberton, NC.Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 2, 2018 from 1 until 2:00 pm at Raeford Christian Center Assembly of God. 1511 Red Springs Road, Raeford, NC.A memorial service will follow at 2:00 pm at the church.Memorial may be made to St. Judes Childrens Research, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
