James Allen Carter Sr.

Mr. James Allen Carter Sr. went home to be with his Lord and Savior and his son James Allen Carter II on Friday, June 11, 2021, at this home.

James was born in Hope Mills, NC on June 29, 1954, to the late Mr. Carter and Helen Byrd Carter. He was preceded in death by his son, James Allen Carter, II. He was the owner and operator of Carter’s Crane Survive. James was a member of the Classic Car Club in NC.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years Nancy Beasley Carter of Hoke County, NC; a sister Thelma Carter of Fayetteville, NC; two brothers Larry Carter (Gloria Gutierrez) of Raeford, NC, Paul Carter and his wife Betty Carter and there son Bryan Carter all of Fayetteville, NC;  His nieces and nephews, Melissa Carter, Hailey Stevenson, Terry Wayne Carter, and Kenneth Dudley.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Crumpler Funeral Home in Raeford.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at Tabernacle Baptist Church with Reverend Tommy Underwood officiating.

Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.
