Jean (Wilson) Wade

Mrs. Jean Wilson Wade of Raeford, Passed at Open Arms Retirement Home on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at the age of 79.

Jean was born in Wake County on August 1, 1942, to the late Ruth Biggs Wilson and Dixie F. Wilson. She was employed and retired as the Human Resource Director for the County of Hoke.

Jean is survived by her husband Marion Lee Wade (Jim) granting them over 60 years together. The union was the happiest time of Jean’s life, and their love grew into an inseparable bond. She is also survived by a daughter Julie Anette Wade Crawford, son-in-law Robert O. Crawford of Raeford, NC, a granddaughter Tiffany Jean Crawford of Italy , a sister-in-law Lavinia Wade Patterson of Raeford, NC.

A Graveside Service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, June 4, 2022 at the Raeford Cemetery with Reverend James Wilhide officiating.
