Obituary
Mrs. Karen Pearl Jarman of 815 Richardson Avenue, Fayetteville, NC has succumbed to lung cancer on April 18, 2022, at the age of 75.
Karen was born in Tallahassee, FL on Feb. 26, 1947, to the late Jay C. Hinson Sr. and Daisy W. Rhodes Hinson. She was preceded in death by her husband Ed Jarman. Mrs. Jarman served in the US Army for over 9 years and was a Licensed Practical Nurse for over 32 years, spending 10 years at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center working in the NICU unit and labor and deliver, loving all the babies she helped bring into the world. Spending her last few years as a home health nurse.
She leaves behind a sister Linda Hinson of Fayetteville, NC, a brother Jay C. Hinson Jr. (Roberta) of Waynesville, NC, her stepchildren Theresa Forrest, Eddie Jarman, and Channing Jarman and four step-grandchildren. She has no children of her own but helped raise 16 nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service will be held later.
