Mary Elizabeth Sitzler

Mary Elizabeth Sitzler (Dee) passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2023.  She was born in Portsmouth, Virginia on March 1, 1953 to Charlotte Peed Sitzler and Luther Moore, she lived most of her life in the Portsmouth and Norfolk area where she attended Woodrow Wilson High School and worked in the dental industry. Most recently she was a resident of Kill Devil Hills, NC where she was caregiver for her mother until Charlotte Sitzler’s death In December of 2021. Besides her mother, she was also preceded in death by Robert Edward Sitzler, Sr. Dee is survived by 6 siblings including Thomas (Karey), Susan (Margie), Robin Frazier (Tommy), Sam (Donna), Robert Jr, (Jeannette), and James, several nieces and nephews, and grandnieces. Final arrangements are being handled by Crumpler Funeral Home of Raeford. 131 Harris Ave. Raeford, NC 28376.
