Patricia Faye (Patsy) Taylor

Mrs. Patricia Faye (Patsy) Ward Taylor of Raeford went home to be with her Lord and Savior surrounded by her family on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at the age of 74. Patsy was born in Robeson County on May 6, 1946, to the late Junior and Mary Ward. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Lee Caulder, her grandchildren, Hannah McBryde, Abigail McBryde, and Matthew Rockholt. She enjoyed crocheting and left all of us an heirloom to cherish forever. She loved reading, playing card games, bingo, and going to casinos. She never really met a stranger. She loved everyone at her dialysis home in Red Springs. She was their first patient and remained there with them until the end.She is survived by her husband of 59 years Jesse James Taylor, Jr. of Raeford, NC; three daughters, Beverly Taylor of Raeford, NC; Teresa Adams of Raeford, NC and Deborah McBryde and her husband Mike of Laurinburg, NC; a son Jesse James Taylor III and his fiancé Pamela Brady of Holden Beach, NC; a special granddaughter, Sarah Bullard and her husband Charles of Wagram, NC ; with whom they shared their home, nine grandchildren. Patsy's two great grandsons, Doodle and Ray Ray Bullard were her special caregivers. Patsy also had ten more great grandchildren,a sister-in-law Barbara Odom and her husband Richard of Raeford, NC; a brother-in-law Robert Taylor and his wife Pat of Holden Beach, NC.Visitation will be held from 7:00 until 9:00 pm on Friday, April 2, 2021 at Crumpler Funeral Home in Raeford,Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, April 3, 2021 at the Crumpler Funeral Home Chapel, 131 Harris Ave. Raeford, NC with Rev. Glenn Vollrath officiating.Burial will be in the Raeford Cemetery.
