Roy Lee Obituary

Mr. Roy Junior Lee, 89, formerly of Pasadena, Texas, a much-loved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, son, and brother passed away peacefully at Highsmith Rainey Specialty Hospital in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

He was born in Emerson, Arkansas. He was the son of the late Roy Richard Lee and Bertha (Bolton) Lee. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by infant twin sons, six brothers (Raymond, Dean, RB, Willie, Gene, and Robert), four sisters (Christine, Faye, Virginia, and Mavis), and a great grandson (Leviticus). Roy grew up in Dyess Colony, Arkansas.

Roy worked for several years as a home builder in Texas. Once retired, he completed small engine repairs out of his garage in Pasadena, Texas.

Roy enjoyed going to the dog track, playing scratch off tickets, playing bingo, listening to country legends on the radio and eating Mexican food, but his true love was spending time with family.

Left to cherish the memory of Roy are, his two sons and daughter’s in-law, Steven Lee (Gloria) and Richard Lee (Diane); special nephew John Font (Amy); four grandchildren, Amber (Phillip), Sean (June), Raul and Steven; seven great grandchildren, Odin, Alexia, Landon, Milani, Joseph, Lincoln and Leighton as well as many brother’s in-law, sisters in-law, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held later
