Zelma Locklear

Mrs. Zelma Locklear of Maxton went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at the age of 93.

Zelma was born in Robeson County on April 2, 1928, to the late Bozie Locklear and Jessie Tyler Locklear. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Locklear a son Carl James Locklear, two grandsons Delwin Locklear and Rhett Anthony Locklear.

She leaves to mourn her passing, her children, two daughters Linda Tyler (Ronald) of Hope Mills, NC. Deliliah Chavis (Clarence) of Maxton, NC; four sons Edward Locklear Jr. (Barbara) of Maxton, NC. Anthony Locklear (Angie) of Maxton, NC. Ronnie Locklear (Nancy) of Lumber Bridge, NC and Delton Locklear (Katrina) of Maxton, NC; 27 grandchildren, 64 Great Grandchildren and 15 great, great grandchildren. .a sister Modest Jones of Maxton, NC

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Saturday, May 29, 2021, at Crumpler Funeral Home, 131 Harris Avenue, Raeford, NC.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 pm Sunday, May 30, 2021, at Little Mission Holiness Church, 18601 Airbase Road, Laurinburg, NC.

Burial will be in the Sandy Ridge Community Church Cemetery 396 Modest Road, Maxton, NC.
